The Queen Victoria® wallpaper was designed by William Morris, the father of the English Arts & Crafts movement, for Queen Victoria to use in Balmoral Castle. The design was the Imperial Crown, the Scottish Thistle and the Tudor Rose. The VRI stands for Victoria Regina Imperatrix, or Victoria Queen and Empress.
